In the world of business, the notion of "no I in team" is more than a cliché; it is a foundational truth. Successful business ventures are built on the backs of collaborative, well-assembled teams, each member bringing their unique strengths and perspectives. Putting together the right team is paramount to executing business plans effectively. I often think about my personal experiences and lessons learned from past shortcomings, when it came to banning together with my street comrades.

From a young age, I was surrounded by aspiring entrepreneurs, each with a vision and a drive to succeed. Despite our ambition, and street success, we struggled to unite our resources and capital to build a lasting empire, that would have generated generational wealth for all of our families. We were like pieces of a puzzle that never quite fit together. Our inability to collaborate stunted our growth and, ultimately, our success. This taught me a valuable lesson: individual efforts, no matter how strong, are no match for the power of a team. The saying "together we rise, divided we fall" is a historical truth. When individuals combine their resources, skills, and knowledge, they create a synergy that can overcome challenges and achieve infinite goals.

My background was fraught with negativity and adversity. Growing up in a drug-infested environment, my friends and I managed to break through and earn six to seven figures as teenagers. Yet, despite our financial success, through illegal means, we remained haunted by the traumas of our past and the fractures in our relationships. The absence of unity and mutual support left us vulnerable to the very pitfalls we sought to escape.

We didn’t have any business minded men in our community, teaching us the importance of building and establishing healthy business relationships with others. It highlights how vital it is to transcend individual limitations and work towards a collective goal. Our failure to come together impeded our business potential.

Some times building and establishing strong and healthy relationships may involve seeking out like-minded individuals who share your vision and values, even if it means leaving behind familiar surroundings. This pursuit is crucial for establishing a network of support and collaboration that can propel you towards your business goals.


The journey from adversity to success is rarely traveled alone. It is paved by the collective efforts of a dedicated team, united by a common purpose. Healthy and strong business relationships are not just beneficial; they are essential. They provide the foundation upon which businesses can grow and thrive.

I recognize the profound impact that a lack of unity had on my early ventures. It underscored the necessity of coming together, of leveraging each other’s strengths to overcome challenges. Today, as I continue to build and grow, I remain committed to fostering relationships based on trust, respect, and mutual support.


To all aspiring entrepreneurs, remember that while individual talent and drive are important, the true measure of success lies in your ability to build and nurture strong business relationships.
